Welcome to the website for AJH Racing.

AJ Hutchinson back with Absol Racing for 2009 Season

After a break of two years, AJ is delighted to have signed back with Iain Duff and the Absol Racing for the 2009 season.

AJ is the last rider to be signed under the Absol Racing colours for 2009, and will be joining Paul Barron and Derek Sheilds competing in the Nationals. AJ is also legible for the 600 cup and Derek will be doing the full season of road racing. Paul will also be trying road racing this year and will make a decision on whether to complete in the full series after the first couple of rounds. Emmett Grady will be competing in Triumph Triple Challenge. Richie Ryan is a satellite rider for this season but will be running in the team colours.

When the team was formed in 2006, AJ Hutchinson and Richie Kiely competed in the Bridgestone Clubman's Supersport 600s championship with selected rides at National Supersport 600 rounds in Mondello Park. AJ finished that year in 5th place in the Bridgestone Championship, 3rd in the Southern Centre Clubman SS600s, 3rd in the Southern Centre National SS600s and was also voted 'Bridgestone Rider of the Year' for 2006.

AJ went on in 2007 to race in the inaugural Triumph Triple Challenge series in the UK, where he finished in a creditable top ten position - impressive for his first season on the UK circuits. Unfortunately, last season saw AJ unable to complete his season in ISB due to lack of funds."

AJ was thrilled when he was approached by Down Syndrome Ireland in 2007 and asked if he could provide a link to their website.

We all experience many great things and also face many challenges throughout our lives. People with Down syndrome are no different, but may need a little extra help and support along the way. Down Syndrome Ireland's goal is to help people with Down syndrome make their own futures as bright and independent as possible by providing them with education, support and friendship every step of the way. AJ is proud to be associated with the work of Down Syndrome Ireland.
